Welcome to my humble corner of the internet. I'm an American, Tokyo-based software engineer (mostly specializing in .NET). Japan

It is said that everyone ought to learn a second language and learn how to play an instrument in their lifetime— and while I've made some headway on the first item, I need still need to find an instrument to play. In March of 2020 during the birth of the global pandemic I moved to Japan to study Japanese and broaden my horizons. Although COVID made things less than ideal, it has become one of the most valued, pivotal experiences in my life. I recommend that anyone with the inkling of an urge to pursue life in a foreign country to hear it out.
